Elders Quorum
The Fort Yargo Elders Quorum presidency is beginning to provide communication for our members via SMS, RCS, and eMail. This page is here to help you better understand what we are here to do and how you can communicate to the quorum using technology.
The Elders Quorum and its presidency from the Fort Yargo Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints enables the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage participation in quorum activities, requests members to support the needs of those that are brought to the attention of the Bishop and the Elders Quorum Presidency. This will include helping out with temporal and spiritual needs including:
- Welcoming members into the Fort Yargo Ward
- Coming to the aid of members of the Ward and our community
- Participating in activities of the quorum
- Teaching and Learning from quorum members
- Being a friend to all those around you
To sign up to receive Elders Quorum communications via SMS (text messaging), RCS (rich text messaging), and/or email, please visit our signup page and enter your information. It will be sent to the presidency and added to the list. You will receive an invitation message.
To complete the opt-in process, simply reply to that message with the word “AGREE”—this serves as your confirmation.
